Traditionally, in the late autumn, when the agricultural year full of challenges and achievements comes to an end, the Republic of Moldova marks the Agriculture and Food Industry Workers’ Day. On this occasion, the Cahul District Council organized a special event dedicated to economic agents and agricultural producers from the district, highlighting their essential contribution to the development of the local economy.
The event was attended by representatives of central and local public authorities, who expressed their appreciation for the role of farmers in ensuring food security and strengthening the agro-industrial sector. Delivering congratulatory messages and presenting honorary and appreciation diplomas were: Mr. Iurie Scripnic, State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry; Mr. Pavel Groza, President of the Cahul District; Mrs. Tatiana Seredenco and Mr. Nicon Pîslari, Vice Presidents of the district; as well as Mr. Vasile Raru, Head of the Directorate for Agriculture, Land Relations, Cadastre and Public Property.
The event highlighted the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of those who, despite climatic, economic, and technological challenges, continue to ensure production and quality, contributing to the well-being of the community.
