Petitions
According to Article 9 of the Administrative Code No.116/2018, a petition is understood as any request, notification, complaint, or proposal addressed to a public authority by a natural or legal person.
Requirements for an electronic petition:
According to Article 75(1) of the Administrative Code No.116/2018, a petition must contain the following elements:
a) the petitioner’s first and last name;
b) the domicile or registered office of the petitioner;
c) the name of the public authority;
d) the subject of the petition and its justification;
e) the petitioner’s electronic signature.
After receiving the electronic petition, within 2 days, the applicant will be informed (at the indicated email address) about its registration number.
The electronic petition with an electronic signature, as well as the petition signed manually (addressed to the President of Cahul District), may be sent as a scanned PDF file to the email address: consiliul.raional-cahul@apl.gov.md.
IMPORTANT! By submitting a petition, natural persons are presumed to accept the processing of their personal data for the entire petition examination procedure.
When examining electronic petitions, in accordance with Law No.133/2011 on personal data protection, and with the petitioner’s consent, the confidentiality of personal data will be ensured.
If the electronic petition does not comply with the requirements of the legislation, the applicant will be granted a reasonable period to correct the deficiencies and resend the petition electronically.
If the petitioner does not correct the deficiencies within the allotted time, the petition will not be examined.
If the petitioner does not have an email address and wishes to submit a petition with a handwritten signature, it may be submitted at the Cahul District Council, 3rd floor, or sent through the postal office.

Depending on the nature of the issue raised, central and local public authorities, institutions, and responsible persons will be involved in reviewing the petition, according to their area of competence.
Entities to which the petition is forwarded for examination have the right to verify the authenticity of the information provided by the petitioner and, if necessary, request additional information/data to provide a response.
The results of the petition review will be sent to the applicant’s email address (for electronic petitions) or through the postal office, within the time limits established by the Administrative Code No.116/2018.
